Time to say good bye

I can believe I have to say good bye all of you I learned lots of useful things and activities. All of them help me to become a better teacher. I had a lot of expectations at the beginning. I felt a little nervous about the activities that I had to do. I think I can do it and I answer my self “You have everything to do it” I was really happy to log in Nicenet and follow the instruction about the task each week I felt excited when I created my Blog and posted my first comment. another challenge was Delicious which has a lot of activitie and resouces to use in our daily activities

I learned new things that were very easy to do and the most difficult ones. I enjoyed readings and websites to design and create materials to use in class. I realized about how useful is technology in class and It is really important to use it in class. I planned I project which I am going to use the next school year. I think I get very motivated students to learned and enjoy English.
I want to thank Donna for all your support along this Spring Course. She was very kind and considerate. She gets the best of all of us. I not good at expressing my feeling so Thank you .

Week 9

I learned many interesting things   about people   all  of us have  different learning styles  and intelligences.  I thought there is  only an intelligence  and a learning style but There is complete different  I take a test about learning styles and I found out That I learned through six learning styles  and The main styles are  Visual and Kinesthetic. I plan my students take  a survey about learning styles  so the results help me  o plan a design  the most  useful  activities to get the best result  with all of them .

I design my project to use the next  school year and I has to be able adapt to any level  because  I may work with first course or sixth course.  I have  a lot of resources on line to support my project.

I have information   on delicious , and blogs from this Spring course. I hope to share with other people  in my city.

The end is coming

This week it was a little hard I was wondering about the things to design my project I had many ideas then any of them  were wright.  I was dreaming about the project in my dreams I got many useful ideas but there was a little problem in the morning I did not remember any of them. It was a challenge to post the draft.

I posted  it on our wiki and    I think that it has good ideas to write the final project. I am very interested to use all the material and activities that I learned  in my  classes at university . One of them is ANVILL . This is amazing pack of resources for teahers.

Plan "one computer in class "

I realized that  I  have to design a schedule to use computers in class. Sometimes  it is enough to have one computer because you can control the activity and sometimes each student work with one.  The balance of use one computer or twenty five computers  is the goal  of  our annual plan of activities. We have  to motivated student. 

My first Interactive Power Point .

I enjoy this week I had many challenges to face I have never realized  about Power Point . If I design excellent ones I catch up on my students´ attention  to learn and use English. The clue is they must be very interactive I have to think carefully  about the designs of Power Points  for example : topics  length of the activity,  level  of difficulty,  graphics, templates, Links , videos I have to include them inside of the  Annual Plan of Activities in the school. I get  new surprises  for the next school year for my students because  I finish classes this week in my school. 

I made  little mistakes when I was creating my Power Point task. I was a little worried because the first draft did not like me  and I tried again.  A  famous thought said  “ Practice makes perfection “ so I  follow a tutorial to create excellents PPT

The first half of the course ended

I  am really exciting with themes and material I found and discovered in the last five weeks: I realize I made some mistakes about  evaluation. I have to grade the activities with  " Numbers"  this  way of grading  is not useful   because   It is only sumative  and it is part of  the customs. If you use other forms to grade the tasks  for example A,B,C,D,E,and F the students and parents  complaint about the new grades I want to use. The  sudents are very happy when they see grades  such as  20/20 or 18/20. I do not like to do tradional things about teaching so sometimes  my students think I am an alien. Alternative assessment and Rubrics  are  important tools  I am really interest to use in my courses.and Webquests give the opportunity to work closely teacher-students and get the best of me and my students 

I want to shared this experince with my partners  at highschool. If we spred this news we can improve English teaching.
